Last Saturday was a great day!

Why?

I went for the Sweet Seventeen Makeover Party at The Loft with Steffie! I was one of the fisrt 25 callers who got the exclusive invite and i could bring one friend along...

It was a hillarious experience lar...

First...i went to her house around 10 sumthing to have breakfast with her...we went to Key Hiong Dimsum in Taman Megah (opposite Ming Tien)......we ordered our share of food...i don't like their "har gao"....but the waiters kept coming back...and i was thinking..."How much food do you think two young gurls who obviously put beauty aboves all would eat???"....I felt kinda bad lar..having to say "NO" everytime they pass by with the dimsum......after breakfast...went back to Stef's house...chill out for a while......then her dad sent us to KJ LRT Station....we went to the ticket counter..ask the man which LRT Station is nearest to Jalan Doraisamy...everytime i say the road's name..i want to laugh...sounds like Jalan Dorayaki...hee!!.....He said Dang Wangi and i thought "Owh no..the really deserted UNDERGROUND station".....Went on the LRT...reached Dang Wangi...and as expected...it was deserted...Stef and I were like...."Dielor..what if we get lost??"....We looked like a bunch of lost people walking around the place a few rounds before realising it was useless....we came back to the station and i spotted Sheraton Imperial opposite the LRT station but there was a river in between....and i made a totally bimbo-itic statement..i squealed.."But there's a river in between!! HOW?"....I already had the image of me and her wading through the river in my mind.........and Stef looked at me and pointed to a...BRIDGE...which was right in front of us and also which we would have realised in the first place if we were not too blur.....the bridge was at the first place we arrived when we came out of the station...We walked till we reached in front of Sheraton...and i saw the Medan Tuanku monorail station right in front...i swear i was about to kick myself....i actually forgot Medan Tuanku was a monorail station...So...we were right in front of Sheraton but no Jalan Doraisamy...hee!.....Then i saw a signboard which says "Asian Heritage Row (Jalan Doraisamy)"...I pointed it out to Stef and started jumping happily like.."OWH!! There it is!!"... We walked down the road and i straightaway saw the Loft.....as usual..Stef being her blur self did not see...omigawd...The Loft was so near the Medan Tuanku Station!!!!..............We were there rather early..so we sat outside and chatted...there were 2 pregnant ladies whom we presume were joining the event...Stef claims one of them is not pregnant..its just her clothes making her seem so....We were wondering if we would be able to be like those two ladies.......meeting each other years later with babies in our tummy and "talking" bout our husbands...more like backstabbing and complaining..hee!............Went in the Loft at 2...and it is beautiful!!!! I'm a club newbie kie?........Waited a while hanging around...the host of the event was Xandria Ooi and i saw Suki from OIAM who happens to be the special guest......we were not feeling extrovert-ish...so we did not talk to other people and just mainly smile smile...hee~

Btw..i forgot to mention...I HAVE NEVER SEEN ESCALATORS AS HIGH AS THE ONES IN DANG WANGI LRT STATION!...Omigawd........and they weren't working..=_="............we walked up twice and down once so...we went up to "heaven" came down to "hell" and went up to "heaven" again....its not my fault Stef calls it Stairway to Heaven...

The first booth we went to was the Skincare booth by Clinique....the beautician's name was Veryln and she had the same birthday as me!!!! So coincidental! too bad she wasn't a guy..or i would have erm..targeted...him...remember i wanted to find a boyfriend with the same birthdate kor? hee~..........I was dubbed Miss Skin Type Number 3 aka Combination Oily and Stef was Miss Skin Type Number 2 aka Combination Dry............we finished at the counter and went out to the Makeup Counter...still under Clinique..there was this rather cute guy who's a make-up artist...hey! he's the best looking there kie?.....but he smokes...HUGE TURNOFF!.......We had to do our foundation by ourself...and when i did mine wrong...noob!....another guy make-up artist went..."NO!!! That's not the way you do your foundation!"....Scare me only!! But he was still nice lar..he helped Stef finish up her make up and i got this sweet lady who did my make up...i like her cause she said i have nice eyes.......*kembang*.........we went on to the hair makeover counter by Clipso Academy....i did my hair first...and because it was kinda dark and no mirrors..i can't see what they were doing to my hair...i only could feel them twist, pull and clip....watching Stef's expression while i do my hair makes me nervous....Stef took a longer time with her hair......because her "leng zhai" hairdresses loved her hair so much he just couldn't resist touching it......owhkay..that sounds so wrong.......joking only lar..it was because the 2 guys doing her hair were noobs...so they couldn't decide what to do...hee!....I end up with a 'sweet' looking hairstyle...and Stef ended up with a 'hot-chick' looking hairstyle..but she doesn't believe me...=_=''..................the last counter...which is also the counter where we had to wait longest was the Nail makeover counter by Kukubar...only two manicurists...what do you expect?...after a long wait...i was patient owhkie.....i had my nails squared and painted a light pink while Stef had hers in nude colour.........after that...we decided to go and sit down and let our nails dry before pigging out on the food.....we din pig out earlier when there was better food...shucks~.....End up having sandwiches and some funny-looking desserts......and drank lotsa soft drinks...tsk tsk~....There was an ending performance by Suki who sang "Berdiri" and "Everything"....i did not know her voice was so strong and she sounded great!!.......2 rounds of lucky draws were held but neither of us were lucky enough to get the RM330 Clinique goodie bag or RM100 Kukubar vouchers......ISH~! The event ended with us snapping a huge group photo with Xandria Ooi...hopefully you see us in the Seventeen Magazine sometime soon...HEE!!!!

I think it was a great day.......the event was very erm....happening.........but i had my best friend as company..and i couldn't ask for better company.....btw....we each took a balloon from the party on the way back and made a wish and let go of the balloon....we wished that we would find the right guy soon...hee! no lar.....kidding ony....we wished our friendship would last forever...sobs!! Steffie is leaving!!!!!!!!.......

We took the Medan Tuanku station back to KL Sentral and then went to KLCC......cause we were too lazy to walk back to the Dang Wangi station...we might get lost again you know??? Mwehehehee......had Delifrance at KLCC......got lost...or rather....Stef made me lost...before we could sit for dinner...of course...we posed like crazy..in Delifrance...LRT Station and in the LRT itself...refer to my Friendster for pictures......

Last but not least....i would like to thank Melly for guiding me on the whereabouts of The Loft.,...without her help...i would never find my way..thanx Melly! hee~!

I can't write anymore....lazy ddi...mwehehehehe~
